The Clangers are a family of mouse-like creatures who live on a small blue cratered planet in dark space, it is covered with metal lids which they hide under especially from the objects that fall from the sky. They speak in whistles, and eat green soup harvested by the Soup Dragon. The Clangers programmes were originally broadcast by the BBC from 1969-1972.
